Madeline Powell

Why is Madeline a Rising Star?
Madeline is an outstanding student, and she loves school. She is a gifted athlete in the sport of running. She loves cross-country and track. She was 7th overall in the Kentucky State Meet, and her team won both the city and state championships. She was runner of the year for the Area 3’s Fourth grade and under. She also ran in four national cross-country meets in Florida and West Virginia. She is involved year round running with Derby City Athletic Club. Outside of running, she is also a competitive Irish dancer.
